SL537PALACE: shape and build
Seen front on, this is a single shield lens across the whole face. There is a rim along the top only, with the lower edge of the lens left open. The feed gives the material as acetate, though in the photos the front looks like a mix of metal and acetate. The frame is finished with acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the gold geometric metal cutout at bridge. Saint Laurent files this colourway as code 001.
