What the SL214KATE is

In the photos the Saint Laurent SL214KATE is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. Colour 032 is how Saint Laurent labels this version.
