The SRC057M, front to temple tip

What you get is a geometric front with angled edges. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Mixed metal and acetate temples complete the frame. The branding is at the hinge. The detail that stands out is the gold metal details on corners and hinges. Roberto Cavalli files this colourway as code 06ME.

Will it fit?

The size is 51-20-135: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 51 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

The mauve lenses

The lenses are mauve. An even, flat tint. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
