The SEMPRE, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the gold metal detail at hinge. RETROSUPERFUTURE files this colourway as code DEJ.
