The N2223S, front to temple tip
In the photos the Nautica N2223S is a butterfly front, wide at the top and tapering down. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as plastic. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. The frame is finished with acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. Nautica files this colourway as code 001.
