The MOS172/S, front to temple tip

The photos show an oversized square front that covers a lot of face. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the two-tone color-block frame with bold temple lettering. Colour 0S9W08 is how Moschino labels this version.

How it fits

Written on the inside of the temple as 54-20-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 54 mm lens puts it in the medium range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.

The blue gradient lenses

The lenses are blue gradient. A blue tint gives the view a cooler cast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.

In the box, and getting it to you

It arrives as Moschino packed it: new, in the brand's box, with the case and cloth the brand puts in. Within the US it ships free, usually one to two business days after you order, and the tracking number is emailed to you. Change your mind within 30 days and send it back unworn in its box; the return label we email is deducted from the refund. A defect, wrong item or damage on the way is returned free if reported within 7 days.
