A closer look at the MOS164/S

What you get is a curved wraparound front that follows the face. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has wide acetate temples. Colour 0L7Q70 is how Moschino labels this version.

Will it fit?

Written on the inside of the temple as 60-21-130, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 60 mm across the lens this is a extra large frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

What the lens does

Brown lenses are fitted. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
