MOS164/S: shape and build

What you get is a curved wraparound front that follows the face. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Wide acetate temples complete the frame. Colour 0807IR is how Moschino labels this version.

The numbers on the temple

It measures 55-19-140, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. A 55 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

What the lens does

The lenses are grey. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. The supplier's data carries no polarization or UV rating for this pair, so we claim none.

If Black is not your colour

The MOS164/S is also listed here as 04ANQT (Matte Lime with green lenses), 0L7Q70 (Orange with brown lenses) and 06HTIR (Matte White with grey lenses). Shape and size are the same; only the finish changes.

In the box, and getting it to you

Every pair is brand-new and sold as authentic Moschino, in the brand's packaging with the case and cloth where Moschino includes them. It is packed by our supplier and shipped free anywhere in the US, usually one to two business days after the order, with a tracking number sent to you. Returns are simple: 30 days, unworn, in the box, refund less our label. Report a defect, a wrong item or transit damage within 7 days and the return is free.
