The MOS155/S, front to temple tip

Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. Moschino files this colourway as code 0MQE9O.

Will it fit?

It measures 55-18-140, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. A 55 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.

Lens colour and finish

Lens colour: dark grey gradient. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. Polarization and UV rating are not in the supplier's data for this pair, so neither is claimed here.
