What the MIS0220/S is
The photos show a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge complete the frame. The colour code is 01EDIR, Missoni's own name for this finish.
Will it fit?
It measures 52-20-140, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 52 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.
Lens colour and finish
Grey lenses are fitted. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
