MK2264U: shape and build
What you get is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Metal temples with acetate tips complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the gold cutout logo temple links. The colour code is 300613, Michael Kors's own name for this finish.
