The MK2237U, front to temple tip

What you get is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has metal temples with acetate tips. The colour code is 40063H, Michael Kors's own name for this finish.

Written on the inside of the temple as 52-20-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 52 mm lens puts it in the medium range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

The lenses are green. A green tint sits between grey and brown: natural colour with a touch more contrast. The supplier's data carries no polarization or UV rating for this pair, so we claim none.
