The MK2205, front to temple tip

Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Mixed metal and acetate temples complete the frame. Michael Kors files this colourway as code 400313.

Will it fit?

It measures 52-19-140, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 52 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.

Through the lens

The lenses are ash gradient. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
