MK1175: shape and build
What you get is a geometric front with angled edges. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The frame material is metal, per the supplier. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. The frame is finished with metal temples with acetate tips. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the removable clip-on tinted lenses. The colour code is 19053C, Michael Kors's own name for this finish.
The numbers on the temple
Written on the inside of the temple as 56-20-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 56 mm across the lens this is a large frame. It ships unadjusted, straight from the box; a quick visit to an optician sorts any fit issue.
What the lens does
Clear/blue-light block lenses with grey gradient clip-on lenses are fitted. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
Other colours of the MK1175
We also carry the MK1175 as 19067Z (Shiny Gunmetal with clear/blue-light block lenses with olive gradient clip-on lenses), the same frame in other finishes.
Shipping and returns, plainly
Nothing is opened or handled before you: a new Michael Kors pair in the brand's own packaging, with case and cloth when the brand includes them. The supplier ships on business days, free to US addresses, normally within two days, and tracking follows by email. Any pair can come back within 30 days of delivery, unworn and in its packaging; we email the label and deduct its cost from the refund. Defects, wrong items and transit damage go back free within 7 days.
