The MO0095, front to temple tip

In the photos the Max & Co MO0095 is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as plastic, though in the photos the front looks like acetate. It has acetate temples. The branding sits on the lens. The detail that stands out is the translucent two-tone purple and pink layered frame. Max & Co files this colourway as code 81Z.

Size and fit

The size is 54-18-140: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 54 mm lens puts it in the medium range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

Lens colour and finish

Lens colour: violet gradient. A coloured tint like this is chosen for its look as much as for shade. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
