MO0069: shape and build
What you get is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as plastic. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. The frame is finished with acetate temples. The colour code is 45E, Max & Co's own name for this finish.
The numbers on the temple
The size is 48-20-140: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 48 mm lens puts it in the small range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.
