MO0017: shape and build
Seen front on, this is the teardrop pilot lens that drops below the brow line. There is no rim at all: the bridge and temples mount straight onto the lenses. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The feed gives the material as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. Metal temples with acetate tips complete the frame. Colour 16X is how Max & Co labels this version.
How it fits
Written on the inside of the temple as 60-9-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 60 mm lens puts it in the extra large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own.
