What the LO697S is
What you get is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The supplier lists the frame material as plastic; in the photos the front has the look of acetate. Acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the gradient frame and horse temple logo. Longchamp files this colourway as code 701.
Will it fit?
The size is 53-19-140: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 53 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. It ships unadjusted, straight from the box; a quick visit to an optician sorts any fit issue.
The brown gradient lenses
Lens colour: brown gradient. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. The supplier's data carries no polarization or UV rating for this pair, so we claim none.
If Striped Honey is not your colour
The LO697S is also listed here as 601 (Dark Burgundy with rose gradient lenses) and 001 (Black with grey gradient lenses). Shape and size are the same; only the finish changes.
From the supplier's shelf to your door
