What the JAC/55 is
Seen front on, this is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the gold logo on temples. Jacquemus files this colourway as code С3.

Written on the inside of the temple as 55-16-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 55 mm lens puts it in the large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own.
