The JAC/2, front to temple tip

In the photos the Jacquemus JAC/2 is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with wide acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the gold logo on temple. The colour code is C2, Jacquemus's own name for this finish.

The size is 57-16-135: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 57 mm is large for a sunglasses frame. It ships unadjusted, straight from the box; a quick visit to an optician sorts any fit issue.

Pink lenses are fitted. A coloured tint like this is chosen for its look as much as for shade. An even, flat tint. Polarization and UV rating are not in the supplier's data for this pair, so neither is claimed here.
