The IM0151/S at a glance
In the photos the Isabel Marant IM0151/S is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with acetate temples. The colour code is 0WR9HA, Isabel Marant's own name for this finish.
The numbers on the temple
The size is 58-16-145: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 58 mm across the lens this is a large frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.
Through the lens
Lens colour: brown gradient. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. The supplier's data carries no polarization or UV rating for this pair, so we claim none.
The IM0151/S in other finishes
Other versions of the IM0151/S on GlareBear: 08079O (Black with dark grey gradient lenses). The fit does not change between them.
