The SAMA0682 at a glance
Seen front on, this is a squared-off take on the aviator, with a flatter brow and straighter sides. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Wide acetate temples complete the frame.
