The BOSS1647/S, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the cutout detail at temple tips. Hugo Boss files this colourway as code 0PJPIR.
