The BOSS1617/F/S at a glance
The feed gives the material as plastic. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. Hugo Boss files this colourway as code 0PJPT4.
The numbers on the temple
Written on the inside of the temple as 59-17-150, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 59 mm lens puts it in the extra large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
Lens colour and finish
The lenses are silver mirrored. A coloured tint like this is chosen for its look as much as for shade. A mirror coating that hides the eyes and throws glare back. The supplier's data carries no polarization or UV rating for this pair, so we claim none.
The BOSS1617/F/S in other finishes
The BOSS1617/F/S is also listed here as 0807IR (Black with grey lenses) and 0KB7IR (Grey with grey lenses). Shape and size are the same; only the finish changes.
