What the BOSS1574/S is

What you get is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as plastic, though in the photos the front looks like acetate. Acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge complete the frame. The branding sits on the lens. Its signature is the metal hinge insert on temples. Hugo Boss files this colourway as code 0KB79O.

Will it fit?

The size is 53-19-150: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 53 mm lens puts it in the medium range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.

The dark grey gradient lenses

The lenses are dark grey gradient. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
