In the photos the Hugo Boss BOSS1569/S is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples. Hugo Boss files this colourway as code 009QKU.

Reading the size

It measures 55-20-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 55 mm is large for a sunglasses frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.

Lens colour: blue. A blue tint gives the view a cooler cast. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
