Three colours, stacked
Most frames pick one colour and stay with it. The GU7912 in 71Y does not. Across the front the plastic is translucent purple at the brow, then a solid burgundy band wraps each outer corner, and below that the frame clears to a pale, see-through pink. The change happens in flat steps, not a blend, so the front reads as layers. The arms are plain burgundy, which ties the front's darkest band to the rest of the pair.
A wide top, a cut-away base
The upper edge is straight and rises to a point at each outer corner, which gives the front a wide, winged top. Below the lens the rim is cut in flat angled planes rather than curved, so the bottom corners look faceted. A full rim holds each lens, and the bridge is one molded piece across the nose with no separate pads. One retailer listing summary calls the GU7912 a butterfly shape; the angled lower edge is what we would point to in the photos.
Violet on paper, rose in the photos
The supplier lists the lens colour as Violet. In our photos both lenses are one even tone that looks closer to a soft rose-pink, with no fade from top to bottom, and GUESS is printed small on one of them. Screens shift colour, so we give the listed word and what we see. The supplier data gives no UV or polarization rating, and we claim none.
Metal on the arm
Each burgundy arm carries a pale gold-coloured plaque built from interlocking G shapes, set where the arm leaves the front. It is the only metal on the pair. The inside of one arm shows CE and UK CA marks in the photo.

The lens is 55 mm wide, the bridge 16 mm and the arms 140 mm. With no pads, the 16 mm bridge is what rests on the nose, so it suits a narrow-to-medium bridge best.
