The GU7812, front to temple tip
The photos show a butterfly front, wide at the top and tapering down. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is plastic, per the supplier. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. The frame is finished with acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. Colour 57F is how Guess labels this version.
Size and fit
It measures 61-15-130, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. A 61 mm lens puts it in the extra large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.
What the lens does
The lenses are brown gradient. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
