GU7812: shape and build
The photos show a butterfly front, wide at the top and tapering down. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is plastic, per the supplier. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. The frame is finished with acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. The colour code is 44F, Guess's own name for this finish.
How it fits
It measures 61-15-130, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 61 mm is extra large for a sunglasses frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
Lens colour and finish
The lenses are brown gradient. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
