GU00252: shape and build

In the photos the Guess GU00252 is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Wide acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the raised tone-on-tone circular temple logo. Colour 25Y is how Guess labels this version.

Will it fit?

Written on the inside of the temple as 54-17-135, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 54 mm lens puts it in the medium range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.
