GG1869S: shape and build
What you get is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the green and red striped temples.
