The GG1868S, front to temple tip

The photos show a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with wide acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the blue and red striped temples. Gucci files this colourway as code 002.

Written on the inside of the temple as 53-19-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 53 mm across the lens this is a medium frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.
