The GG1779S, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples. Colour 003 is how Gucci labels this version.
How it fits
It measures 51-17-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 51 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
