The GG1664S, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Wide acetate temples complete the frame. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. The detail that stands out is the gold interlocking logo on red temple panel. The colour code is 004, Gucci's own name for this finish.
