What the GG1425S is
The photos show a rectangular front, wider than it is tall. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with wide acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the large gold-tone gg logo on temple. Gucci files this colourway as code 004.
