What the GG1351S is
In the photos the Gucci GG1351S is a squared-off take on the aviator, with a flatter brow and straighter sides. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a double-bar bridge, with adjustable nose pads. Our supplier lists the frame as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. The frame is finished with mixed metal and acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the red logo plaque on temple. Colour 004 is how Gucci labels this version.
Will it fit?
Written on the inside of the temple as 59-17-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 59 mm is extra large for a sunglasses frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.
Through the lens
Brown lenses are fitted. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. An even, flat tint. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
