GG1147S: shape and build
What you get is an oversized square front that covers a lot of face. The lens is held by no rim at all: the bridge and temples mount straight onto the lenses. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. Our supplier lists the frame as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. Thin wire temples complete the frame. The branding sits on the lens. The detail that stands out is the diamond-shaped rivets on lens mounts. Gucci files this colourway as code 003.
