GG1111S: shape and build
The photos show an oversized square front that covers a lot of face. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with wide acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the metal rivets at front corners. Colour 003 is how Gucci labels this version.
