A closer look at the SGP017
The photos show a round lens. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples. The detail that stands out is the three-dot rivets at front corners and temples. The colour code is 0BLH, GAP's own name for this finish.
Will it fit?
Written on the inside of the temple as 51-20-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 51 mm lens puts it in the medium range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
What the lens does
Blue lenses are fitted. A blue tint gives the view a cooler cast. An even, flat tint. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
