SGP016: shape and build
In the photos the GAP SGP016 is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. It rests on a saddle bridge that spreads the weight across the nose, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with acetate temples. Look for the four-dot metal rivets on corners and temples. GAP files this colourway as code 0AMH.
How it fits
It measures 54-19-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. The lens width of 54 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.
The dark brown lenses
Lens colour: dark brown. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. An even, flat tint. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
