FOS3171/G/S: shape and build
What you get is the teardrop pilot lens that drops below the brow line. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a double-bar bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The frame material is metal, per the supplier. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. It has metal temples with acetate tips. Fossil files this colourway as code 0003IR.
Size and fit
The size is 56-16-145: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 56 mm is large for a sunglasses frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
