The ETRO0061/F/S at a glance

The photos show an oversized square front that covers a lot of face. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The frame material is metal, per the supplier. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. The frame is finished with metal temples with acetate tips. The branding sits on the lens. The detail that stands out is the sculpted pegasus detail at hinges. Colour 0DDBV5 is how Etro labels this version.

Size and fit

Written on the inside of the temple as 60-16-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 60 mm is extra large for a sunglasses frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

Lens colour and finish

Burgundy orange lenses are fitted. A coloured tint like this is chosen for its look as much as for shade. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
