A closer look at the DG2307

The photos show a curved wraparound front that follows the face. There is a rim along the top only, with the lower edge of the lens left open. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The feed gives the material as metal. A metal front is thinner and lighter on the face than acetate. It has metal temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the twisted metal temples. The colour code is 01/6G, Dolce & Gabbana's own name for this finish.

Will it fit?

Written on the inside of the temple as 61-14-140, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 61 mm lens puts it in the extra large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

Lens colour and finish

Lens colour: grey mirror black. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. A mirror coating that hides the eyes and throws glare back. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.
