The DK554S, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. It has a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. Colour 520 is how DKNY labels this version.
Reading the size
The size is 54-17-140: lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The lens width of 54 mm is medium for a sunglasses frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.
Lens colour and finish
Pink gradient lenses are fitted. A coloured tint like this is chosen for its look as much as for shade. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
If Crystal Lilac is not your colour
The DK554S is also listed here as 430 (Crystal Turquoise with blue gradient lenses) and 001 (Black with dark grey lenses). Shape and size are the same; only the finish changes.
From the supplier's shelf to your door
Every pair is brand-new and sold as authentic DKNY, in the brand's packaging with the case and cloth where DKNY includes them. Shipping inside the US is free; the supplier packs it on business days, normally within two, and emails tracking. Thirty days to return it, unworn and in its packaging, for a refund minus the label we send; anything defective, wrong or damaged in transit goes back at no cost within 7 days.
