CDIORB2U: shape and build
Seen front on, this is a cat-eye front that lifts at the outer corners. The lens is held by a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. It has acetate temples with a metal plaque at the hinge. Colour 89A4 is how Dior labels this version.
