DB1120/F/S: shape and build

The photos show a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The feed gives the material as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. How it fits

Written on the inside of the temple as 56-19-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 56 mm across the lens this is a large frame. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.

Lens colour and finish

The lenses are brown. A brown tint warms the view slightly and sharpens contrast. An even, flat tint. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
