A closer look at the CL40291I
Seen front on, this is a curved wraparound front that follows the face. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame sits on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. Wide acetate temples complete the frame. Written on the inside of the temple as 69-9-120, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres.
