CL40102I: shape and build

In the photos the Celine CL40102I is a square front with a flat brow and squared corners. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. Across the nose there is a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. Our supplier lists the frame as acetate. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the three dot rivets on front and temples. The colour code is 52N, Celine's own name for this finish.

Will it fit?

It measures 58-17-145, which is the lens width, then the bridge, then the temple length, all in millimetres. At 58 mm across the lens this is a large frame. Nobody bends the temples or nose rest before shipping; an optician can do that in a few minutes if the fit is off.

The green lenses

Green lenses are fitted. A green tint sits between grey and brown: natural colour with a touch more contrast. An even, flat tint. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.

New stock, not display pieces: each pair comes sealed in Celine's packaging with the brand's case and cloth where supplied. Within the US it ships free, usually one to two business days after you order, and the tracking number is emailed to you. Any pair can come back within 30 days of delivery, unworn and in its packaging; we email the label and deduct its cost from the refund. Defects, wrong items and transit damage go back free within 7 days.
