The FLAGLAB17, front to temple tip
What you get is a single shield lens across the whole face. There is a full rim all the way round each lens. The frame material is acetate, per the supplier. Acetate is the plant-based plastic that most designer frames are cut and polished from sheet; it holds deep colour and an optician can re-adjust it with heat. The frame is finished with metal temples with acetate tips. The colour code is 0B4E08, Carrera's own name for this finish.
How it fits
Shields are measured differently: the single lens spans about 99 mm and there is no separate bridge figure, which is why makers list the bridge as 1 mm. The temples are 140 mm. Frames ship as the maker boxed them, without adjustment, and a local optician can fine-tune the fit.
The blue gradient lenses
Blue gradient lenses are fitted. A blue tint gives the view a cooler cast. A gradient tint, darker at the top than at the bottom. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
