Carrera Ducati CARDUC044/S

What the CARDUC044/S is

In the photos the Carrera Ducati CARDUC044/S is a curved wraparound front that follows the face. The lens is held by a rim along the top only, with the lower edge of the lens left open. It rests on a plain single bridge, and the nose rest is part of the frame. The frame material is plastic, per the supplier. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. Carrera Ducati files this colourway as code 0807IR.

Reading the size

Written on the inside of the temple as 70-10-130, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. A 70 mm lens puts it in the extra large range for sunglasses, so check it against a pair you already own. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.

Through the lens

Grey lenses are fitted. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. We make no polarization or UV claim for these lenses: the supplier's data does not include one.

The CARDUC044/S in other finishes

The CARDUC044/S is also listed here as 0R6SXT (Grey Black with blue sky mirror lenses). Shape and size are the same; only the finish changes.
